One of my patients recently provided a review for my services at our practice.
Being called the BEST is a great honor for any dental professional, and I am thrilled to have achieved this recognition.
BUT
Am I really the BEST?
Lets explore this thought...

Nobody wakes up in the morning thinking, "I will be the BEST or the WORST today."
We simply do our best in the circumstances given. I honestly believe that every single one of us dental professionals wants to provide the best care we can give.
HOWEVER....
We can only bake the BEST cake with BEST ingredients.
Meaning, that we can only do the best if we have the best ingredients and work conditions.
In the review above I could only do what I did because I truly have the best ingredients. Best colleagues supporting me, best instruments and ultrasonic scaler, best and appropriate time given for the patient treatment.
If any of the ingredients is missing then it is hard to create the environment where each party - clinician, patient, dental assistant and dental receptionist is comfortable.
So go out there and bake your CAKE.
And, if your store does not offer the best ingredients then you might want to have a look for a different store.
